This great park is located off Wood Street in Preston. It’s set a little bit back from the road, so you don’t have to worry too much about kids running off.

The playground has lots of different equipment to keep the kids interested including  two large towers with climbing points, slides, monkey bars, balance bars, a fireman pole, a bridge, tunnel and large threaded beads. Other play features include a see saw, climbing rope pyramid and an old school, clown faced, rotating swing for two. The kids loved this one as they could both be on it at the same time!

A large sandpit area has a fixed table with a bowl and scoop in the middle for mixing, pouring and making mud pies. While another awesome feature is the ‘boat’ that’s been constructed on a raised deck around a tree. It’s a fantastic shaded role play structure – perfect for swashbuckling pirates!

The rest of the park features a basketball ring and court, two picnic tables under shade and other tables which are scattered around a BBQ. A drinking fountain and public toilets make this a great park to spend a day in. My kids didn’t want to leave!
