G.E. Robinson Park is located in Reservoir on the corner of High Street and Garden Street. The park itself is quite large, grassy and well shaded by lots of trees. The playground equipment unfortunately has no shade, so remember to wear a hat and sunscreen.
The equipment features two structures, one for the older kids and another one for the younger kids. There’s plenty of climbing features, two slides and two swings (1 baby). A couple of spring bouncers are popular with the little ones, and what looks like a yellow metal ladder that’s been folded into a wave provides younger kids with the opportunity to climb and not fall very far. The coolest feature however would have to be the egg cubby which has bench seating within it.
The park also has three tennis courts and the toilets are available when the tennis club is in use. There’s picnic tables, a drinking fountain and plenty of bench seating scattered around. I find this playground a nice place to stop off after a trip to the nearby Reservoir shops.
