What’s on in the North this week:

Good Friday Open Studio (Fri 14 April). The Larwill Studio in Parkville is hosting a Good Friday Appeal for the Royal Children’s Hospital next door. There will be a petting zoo, ball pit, arts & crafts table, face painting and an egg counting competition (the winner goes home with a David Larwill print!).

 Zaatar’s Good Friday Appeal Day (Fri 14 April). Zaatar in Coburg will be hosting it’s second charity day in support of the Royal Children’s Hospital, Good Friday Appeal. Activities include face painting, a jumping castle, carnival games, live music and a raffle.

Chocolate Food Truck Festival (Sat April 15) Celebrate Easter with chocolate ice-cream, waffles, churros, shakes, donuts and cupcakes at the Food Truck Park in Preston.

Funfields Easter Hunt (Sat April 15). Who doesn’t like a good old fashioned hunt? Funfields is hosting their Annual Easter Egg Hunt for all to enjoy. There will be multiple mini egg hunts throughout the day for different age groups and 50,000 (!!!) Cadbury Chocolate easter eggs given away. Kids will also be able to meet the Easter Bunny and Frankie. To get among the action you must be a paying guest or a Season Pass holder. Hop to it!

Coburg Farmer’s Market (Sat April 15). Held at the Coburg North Primary School, there is always a great supply of fresh vegetables, seasonal fruits, nuts & oils, meats, eggs, bread, cheeses, cakes, pies, sweet treats, wine and cider.

Baby friendly Beauty and the Beast (Wed 19 April). IMAX is having a baby-friendly movie screening. The session is customised for babies and youngsters with adjusted lighting and a softened volume to ensure a comfortable cinema experience for all. It will be a relaxed, social environment for parents and carers to unwind with little ones and enjoy a family outing!
