What’s on in the North this week:

Storytime at The Little Bookroom (Thurs 27 April). There will be songs, stories and rhymes for toddlers, preschoolers and babies. There will also be a Brio train table for the little ones to play with.

Free outdoor movie – Zootopia (Fri 28 April). Epping Hub will be hosting a community market from 4pm with kids activities and food stands. Movie starts at 6pm. Bring your own chair or rug.

Chilli and spice weekend – Food Truck Park Preston (Fri 28 April – Sun 30 April). Showcasing the best in hot street food fare. The spiciest and most flavour packed food trucks in Melbourne will be here all weekend!

Saturday morning music concert for kids (Sat 29 April). A morning music concert for preschool and primary aged kids and their families, held at the Collingwood Town Hall Ballroom.

Coburg farmer’s market (Sat 29 April). Held at the Coburg North Primary School, there is always a great supply of fresh vegetables, seasonal fruits, nuts & oils, meats, eggs, bread, cheeses, cakes, pies, sweet treats, wine and cider.

Fairfield farmer’s market (Sat 29 April). Held at the Fairfield Primary School. Stallholders include growers of free range pork, beef, lamb, goat, chickens, eggs, fresh fruit and vegies, milk straight from the farm, handmade cheeses, honey, olive oil, nuts and seedlings. Plus coffee, a BBQ brekkie, pastries, fresh juices and lots more.

Messy Play Day (Sun 30 April). The Hohnes Road Playhouse will be hosting a messy play day where children can discover, play and get messy! Wear old clothes and bring a change for when you’re done.

Glenroy Festival (Sun 30 April). Held at Bridget Shortell Reserve, celebrate the community of Glenroy with an afternoon of music, dance, activities for the kids and delicious food stalls.

Vegan Vegout at Welcome to Thornbury (Wed 3 May). There will be a selection of vegetarian and vegan food, plus the best pierogi in town!
