Harmony Park in Coburg… how cool is this place?! I’ve heard lots of people talk about it and I’m glad we finally made it there… what a fabulous space for kids! It’s an all abilities playground that features many interesting elements for both young and older kids.
The main tower structure features a rock climbing wall, a slide, a fort and a tunnel. There’s a separate balancing and monkey bar section, a rope climbing pyramid, swings and a smaller wooden structure with climbing points, a bridge, and an interactive floor. Further along, you’ll find a green soft landing area beneath the trees which have these cute noise-making tyres… my little one was intrigued by the different sounds coming out of them! A shaded sand pit area features a train, a digger, and a cool manual wind up conveyor belt. The kids loved loading it up with sand and spinning the wheel! Surrounding the sand pit area there are more swings, a see-saw, a boat and some interactive musical instruments.
There’s so much to keep the little ones entertained with here! I suggest packing some lunch and finding a table under the shaded picnic area. There’s also a BBQ, drinking taps, public toilets and even free wifi! Older kids will enjoy the skate park or the basketball court – remember to bring your board and ball!
